A man has been arrested and charged in the crash that killed a Bucks County Sheriff's Deputy late Tuesday night. The suspect, Harry Burak, 27, was driving his truck with a suspended license, and police said they detected an odor of alcohol on his breath at the scene.
The incident occurred at around 8:30 p.m. on eastbound Route 313 near Sterner Mill Road, the Bucks County District Attorney's Office said.
Sheriff's Deputy Keith W. Clymer, 48, of Kintnersville, was driving his 2006 Honda motorcycle when Burak's 2017 Dodge Ram 5500 suddenly turned into his path, according to a probable cause affidavit.

Police said that Burak was not cooperative at the scene, and had to be "subdued" and placed in handcuffs by Pennridge Regional Police Department officers, the DA's office said. Officers smelled alcohol on his breath at the scene, although no charges related to DUI are currently pending. The investigation remains underway.
Burak was charged with accidents involving death while not properly licensed, and driving with a suspended or revoked operating license, authorities said.
His license was suspended through 2023 for multiple convictions for driving under the influence, police said.
Burak was arraigned and bail was set at $250,000. A preliminary hearing is set for May 22.
