Man Charged With Simple Assault After Slapping Victim In Warrington

The March 20 arrest followed a domestic disturbance call in the 2500 block of County Line Road, police said.

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A Warrington man faces a simple assault charge after slapping a victim across the face during a domestic disturbance in the township.

On Friday, police arrested the 44-year-old man in the 2500 block of County Line Road and charged him with simple assault and harassment.

After the victim told police that the man had slapped them, officers observed a visible handprint on the victim’s face.

The man was taken to the police station for processing.

The case moved to arraignment later, where Judge Wertman set bail at $50,000. The judge also issued a no-contact order that prohibits the man from contacting the victim or returning to the residence.
