Man Charged With Stalking, Harassment: Central Bucks Regional Police

DOYLESTOWN, PA —A 52 year old Phoenixville man has been charged by the Central Bucks Regional Police Department with stalking and harassment.

Michael John Kennedy turned himself in on an Arrest Warrant issued on Nov. 7 on charges stemming from incidents reported on August 9 and 31.

According to police, Kennedy contacted the victim numerous times via e-mail and voicemail in a harassing manner. He also placed a tracking device on the victim’s vehicle under the rear bumper using a magnet, police said.

The victim’s neighbor described Kennedy (known to the victim) as the person who placed the device on the victim’s vehicle.

When the victim came to police headquarters to report the incidents, police said Kennedy contacted the Bucks County Radio Room to inquire if the victim was at the police station filing a
report against him.

A search warrant was issued for the tracker showing that Kennedy had purchased the device, police said.

On November 9, Kennedy was arraigned and bail was set at $15,000, 10 percent with bail conditions. He was remanded to Bucks County Prison.
