DUI Charges Pending, Domestic Calls: Plumstead Police Report

Pipersville man charged with defiant trespassing after police respond to convenience store.

PLUMSTEAD TOWNSHIP, PA — The Plumstead Township Police Department reported the following incidents and arrests between May 22 and 26:

May 22

  • At 6:49 a.m., officers responded to Colonial Village Motel for a disturbance. When officers arrived, they met with both parties who told police that they got into a verbal argument. The manager asked that both parties vacate the property. Officers cleared without further incidents.
  • At 6:38 p.m., officers responded to Hanusey Park for a disorderly conduct call. When the officers arrived, they were met by the complainant who said she was sitting in her car when another vehicle approached. The driver began yelling and threatening her. The vehicle then exited the park. The complainant was able to obtain a license plate number. The case is under investigation.

  • At 6:59 p.m., officers were dispatched to Mountain Laurel Court for a domestic dispute. When the officers arrived, they were met by the complainant who told police that she and her daughter got into a verbal argument that turned into a physical altercation. The daughter took a Yeti mug and hit her mom in the face with it causing injury to the complainant’s forehead. The officers arrested the 31-year-old daughter from Pipersville for simple assault. She was processed and arraigned and was transported to Bucks County Prison.
  • At 9:03 p.m., officers responded to the Wawa on Easton Road for a suspicious person complaint. The complainant reported that a man approached him and started cursing at him. When the officers arrived, they saw the man in question and informed him that he was no longer allowed on the property and left without further incident.

May 25

  • At 4:10 a.m., officers were in the area of Pear Drive when they heard a loud bang and glass breaking. When the officers arrived, they witnessed a pickup truck parked in the middle of the road and broken glass surrounding the truck. When the officer approached the driver, they recognized that her speech was slurred, she was unbalanced on her feet, and had bloodshot eyes. The driver was unable to perform the field sobriety test. Officers performed a breathalyzer test which resulted in it being above the legal limit. Officers arrested the 28-year-old woman from Doylestown for driving under the influence. Charges are pending blood alcohol results.
  • At 3:52 p.m., a Plumstead officer was conducting a traffic detail on North Easton Road for an expired registration. Upon speaking with the driver the officer detected a strong smell of marijuana, which the driver admitted to smoking prior to being pulled over. The driver agreed to perform a field sobriety test which the driver failed. Officers arrested the 40-year-0ld driver from Philadelphia for Driving Under the Influence of a controlled substance. Charges are pending blood results.

  • At 6:14 p.m., officers responded to the Wawa on Easton Road for an unwanted man in the establishment. When the officer arrived, he met by a store worker who said the individual had been informed a week earlier that he was longer allowed inside the business. When the officer spoke with the individual, the officer reminded the man that he had been informed a few days earlier that he was not allowed on the premises and that if he were, he would be charged with trespassing. Officers charged the 52-year-old man from Pipersville with defiant trespassing.
