Man Faces Attempted Homicide Charge Following Machete Assault In Bucks
Police say he stabbed and cut a victim with a knife and machete at a Sellersville home.

SELLERSVILLE, PA — A 25-year-old man faces attempted homicide charges following an assault with a machete in Sellersville.
Perkasie Police have charged Isaiah Velazquez with attempted criminal homicide, two counts of aggravated assault, simple assault, and possession of instruments of crime.
On Sept. 9, police responded to a home on Ridge Avenue following a domestic disturbance that turned violent sometime after midnight.

The victim told police that Velazquez confronted him with a machete in one hand and a knife in the other hand, swinging the blades, which cut and stabbed the victim, police said.
Perkasie Borough Police Officers, assisted by Pennridge Regional Police responded to Velazquez's home where they took him into custody without incident.

Velazquez was arraigned by District Justice Kronnagel and transported to Bucks County Prison in lieu of $1,000,000 bail. The victim of the assault was transported to Grandview Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
