Man Faces Drug Charges After Causing Disturbance At Warrington Pizza

Police also arrested a Warminster man who stole a TV from Walmart shortly after appearing in district court on retail theft charges.

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — The Warrington Township Police Department reported the following incidents and arrests between April 30 and May 3:

May 3

  • On May 3 at approximately 2:32 p.m. police responded to Target for the report of a retail theft. Upon arrival Loss Prevention told police they had a woman from Richboro in custody. Police said the woman left the store without paying for $344.09 worth of merchandise. She was processed and released.

  • On May 1 at 4:01 p.m., police responded to Warrington Pizza for a disorderly person. Staff related that a shirtless man was yelling and causing a disturbance. When police arrived, they found the man inside the restroom where he appeared to be showering himself. Police said the man 54-year-old man from Warrington was in possession of drug paraphernalia and narcotics. He was placed under arrest and charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the station where he was processed and released. He was advised not to return to Warrington Pizza.
  • On May 1 at approximately 1:57 p.m., a Warrington police officer noticed a suspicious female in the area of TJ Maxx. The 49-year-old woman from Horsham got into the passenger’s seat of a vehicle parked in the parking lot and the vehicle drove away. The officer noticed a code violation and stopped the vehicle. During the vehicle stop the officer detected the woman to be under the influence of narcotics. Officer Fox and K9 Abby responded to the traffic stop. K9 Abby sniffed the vehicle and detected an odor of narcotics emitting from the vehicle. Narcotics and drug paraphernalia were found the woman's possessions. She was placed under arrest and transported to the station where she was processed and released.

April 30

  • On April 30, Warrington Police responded to Walmart for the report of a retail theft not in progress. Loss prevention related a man stole a Samsung 75-inch television valued at $633.88 at approximately 11:26 a.m. Police said the 50-year-old Warminster man left district court where he had a preliminary hearing for another retial theft. He then went to the Walmart where he selected the TV and left the store failing to pay for the television. He has been charged with retail theft and receiving stolen merchandise.
