Man Faces Felony Charge For Damaging Car In Warrington

Police said video surveillance identified the 26-year-old Warminster man as the person responsible for the damage.

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A Warminster man faces a felony charge for allegedly causing extensive damage to a car in Warrington.

In February, police responded to the 2400 block of Dianes Way for a report of criminal mischief. After arriving on the scene, the victim told police that someone had caused extensive damage to their vehicle, including flattening two tires, damaging the gas cover, breaking window rain guards, keying the driver's door and rear doors, damaging a door handle and breaking the backup camera.

The total damage was estimated at $5197.37.

Police said video surveillance identified 26-year-old Jaquan Martin Loeb as the person responsible for committing the damage and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

On March 11, Loeb spoke with police and was advised of the warrant. He denied causing the damage but said he had compensated the victim, police said.

On March 15, Bryn Athyn Police approached Loeb, who fled on foot, but was apprehended and taken into custody. Loeb was transported to Warrington Police Headquarters, where he was processed and transported to Doylestown Hospital for medical clearance.

He was arraigned by Judge Hughes, who set bail at $35,000 (10 percent cash). He was transported to the Bucks County Correctional Facility to await court action on a third-degree felony criminal mischief charge.
