Man Jumps Out Of Bush, Tries To Kidnap 7-Year-Old In Bucks County

An attempted child abduction in which a man jumped from behind a bush and ran towards a 7-year-old boy was reported Friday in Upper Bucks County.
The incident happened just before 7 a.m. Friday in Quakertown. Police there say the boy was riding his bike outside of his house on Elm Street when a black man jumped out from behind a bush and "ran toward him."

The man then said, "Hi, little boy," and tried to grab him, the boy told police. The child ran toward Neidig Elementary School, where he was later found by his mother.
The suspect is described as a black male between 20-30 years old, with a thin build and a buzz cut. He talked in a raspy voice, according to the description. The suspect was last seen wearing a black pull over sweatshirt, black jeans and blue sneakers.
