Man Slaps Girlfriend, Tells Warrington Police He "Screwed Up"

Warrington Township Police have charged the 57-year-old man with simple assault and harassment.

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A Warrington man has been charged with simple assault and harassment after slapping his girlfriend several times, police said.

On Oct. 6, Warrington Township Police responded to the 1700 block of Street Road for the report of an assault. When they arrived, the suspect told police he “screwed up" admitting to police that he slapped his girlfriend several times because she would not leave him alone.

The 57-year-old man was placed under arrest and transported to the station. He was arraigned by Judge Baranoski who set bail at $1,500 unsecured.
