Man Taken Into Custody On Fraud Charges: Central Bucks Regional Police

Police say he charged purchases to a Lowe's business account which he was not authorized to use.

DOYLESTOWN, PA —The Central Bucks Regional Police Department has taken John Michael Shala into custody on felony fraud charges.

Police say Shala, 44, of Mahanoy City, charged purchases to a Lowe's business account which he was not authorized to use.

Video surveillance shows Shala with items in his cart that match the items purchased using the business account, police said.

Shala is being charged with five counts of theft by unlawful taking, five counts of theft by deception, five counts of receiving stolen property, five counts of access device fraud and five counts of forgery.
