Man Throws Fire Extinguisher Through Window: Warrington Police Report
Two charged with retail theft in separate incidents at Wegmans and BJ's Wholesale Club.
WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — The Warrington Township Police Department made the following arrests between April 24 and 27:
April 24
- On April 24 at about 7:54 p.m., police responded to BJ’s Wholesale Club for the report of a retail theft. Upon arrival, the store's loss prevention officer told police that an employee - a 21-year-old Philadelphia man- stole $787 worth of merchandise between April 21 and 23. He was placed under arrest and transported to the station where was processed for retail theft and receiving stolen property.
- On April 24, at approximately 3:58 p.m., police responded to Warrington Crossing Apartments for a criminal mischief that just occurred. The investigation revealed that a 25-year-old man from Warrington had taken a fire extinguisher and had thrown it through a window of an apartment. He was arrested and transported to the station where he was processed and released. He is charged with criminal mischief and harassment. Judge Wertman set bail at $50,000 or 10 percent cash. Judge Wertman also advised the man not to return to the Warrington Crossing Apartments.

- On April 27 at about 4:49 p.m., police responded to the Wegmans store for the report of a retail theft. Upon arrival, they were told by the store's loss prevention officer that a woman exited the store while failing to pay for $568.47 worth of merchandise. The 26-year-old woman was placed under arrest and transported to the station. She was charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property.
