Man Tied Up Woman in Shady Retreat Road Home: Reports

A man captured after a two-hour long search Friday in Doylestown Township allegedly broke into a woman’s Shady Retreat Road home, tied her up and stole items before fleeing, the Intelligencer reported.

Scott E. Wills, 55, is facing charges in connection with the incident. Court records show Wills is charged with three felonies, including robbery, burglary, criminal trespassing.

On Friday, police notified residents in the area of the 100 block of Shady Retreat Road to stay inside with their doors locked. The suspect was captured after the two-hour long manhunt along the Neshaminy Creek.

Wills remains in Bucks County prison on $1.5 million bail.
