Body Found On Central Bucks West Campus, Police Investigating
In a letter to the community, the school district called the incident "isolated" and said there was no threat to students, staff, or campus.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The body of a man was found Wednesday night in the area of Pettine Field on the Central Bucks West High School campus, officials said.
Just before 8:30 p.m., police were dispatched to Memorial Drive near the field for the report of a body. The area borders Doylestown Township and Doylestown Borough.
Central Bucks School District officials confirmed in a letter sent to parents that police were called to the scene to investigate.

“According to police, this appears to be an isolated incident, and there is no threat to students, staff, or the campus,” wrote Central Bucks West Principal Lyndell Davis and Interim Superintendent Dr. Charles Malone in the email. “Police are currently handling the situation, and the area is secure. We are confident that the school can operate safely and normally tomorrow.”
Police are investigating and have not released any further details, including the man’s identity or the cause of death.

The Bucks County Coroner's office told Patch on Thursday that they have not yet found the next of kin and that a cause and manner of death are pending following an autopsy Thursday morning.
