Middle Bucks Institute Of Technology Hosting Open House
The highlight will be student-led demonstrations across program areas, giving attendees an in-depth look at MBIT's offerings.

JAMISON, PA — Students and their families in the Central Bucks, Council Rock, New Hope-Solebury, and the Centennial School Districts are invited to explore and learn about the Middle Bucks Institute of Technology during an open house at the school on Thursday, Nov. 21 from 6 to 8 p.m.
The evening will feature two informational sessions for prospective students and their families: the first session begins at 6 followed by the second session at 7 p.m.
The highlight of the open house will be student-led demonstrations across program areas, giving attendees an "in-depth look" at MBIT’s offerings. A listing of activities will be available in the main lobby to help guide visitors through the labs.

The open house is an opportunity for prospective students and their families to meet faculty, staff, and students, gain insights into various careers, and explore MBIT’s curriculum and work-based learning options designed to build strong foundations for students’ career success. All prospective students, parents, and community members are welcome to attend.

house and see why MBIT is experiencing record interest, record enrollment, and record achievement," said Dr. Mark Covelle, the school's administrative director.

"Visitors will have the chance to meet our world-class faculty and staff, see our state-of-the-art
technology and equipment, and begin the process of exploring the benefits of CTE," he said. "Students that attend MBIT have a competitive advantage in the workforce and in college attendance as all of our programs have articulation agreements with post-secondary institutions."
He added, "Our 21 programs equip students with the skills and recognized industry credentials to excel in more than 21,000 career opportunities. We look forward to welcoming you on November 21."
MBIT offers innovative, rigorous, and highly relevant career and technical education programs designed to prepare high school students for a diverse array of high-wage, high-skill, and in-demand careers. With 21 career pathways, MBIT’s programs are tailored to equip students with the skills needed for Pennsylvania’s critical industries.
Through hands-on, real-world training, students have the opportunity to earn industry certifications and post-secondary credits, giving them a head start on their career paths.
MBIT serves students in grades 10-12 from the Centennial, Central Bucks, Council Rock, and New Hope-Solebury School Districts. The school is located at 2740 York Road (Route 263) in Jamison.
