Missing Coins, Fraudulent Activity Lead Plumstead Township Police Log
Police also responded to two domestic incidents involving a man bitten by his girlfriend and a locked-out roommate.
PLUMSTEAD TOWNSHIP, PA — The Plumstead Township Police Department reported the following incidents between March 26 and 31:
March 26
- A Plumstead resident stopped at police headquarters to file a theft report. The resident told police that they had coins in a suitcase that were in a secured area of the home. When the complainant went to that area they discovered that the suitcase was missing along with the coins. There was no noticeable forced entry into the home. The case is under investigation.

- At 12:50 p.m., a Plumstead resident stopped at police headquarters to file a fraud report. The complainant told police that two accounts were opened in his name. The complainant also told police that he had already contacted the banks where the accounts were opened. A police report was filed and no further action was necessary.
- At 9:14 p.m., officers responded to Louise Saint Claire Drive for a domestic incident. When the officers arrived, the other party involved had already left. The officers met with the complainant who stated that his girlfriend confronted him at his home. The complainant told the girlfriend to leave and when she did not, he attempted to remove her from the home, which resulted in her biting his shoulder. Officers cleared without incident as the other party did not want to press any charges.
March 28
- At 4:05 p.m., officers received a phone call from a resident who reported fraudulent activity. The complainant told police that she received a phone call from someone pretending to be from a credit bureau. The caller said that they were overpaying on their credit cards. The complainant said that the caller then informed her that he had all their information but was seeking information from a current card. The complainant did not provide any information and they did not lose any money as a result. The officer provided the complainant with the identity theft password program.

- At 8:04 p.m., officers responded to North Easton Road for a domestic disturbance. When officers arrived, they met with the complainant who reported that his roommate locked the door on him after he left. Officers were able to talk to both parties and they both agreed that they would be civil for the night. Officers cleared without incident.
