“The donation will fund a youth mission trip, which will travel to Lima, Peru, this summer. In partnership with the YMCA Peru, the youth will be volunteering at a local hospital, a special needs orphanage, building and painting in impoverished areas and working hands-on in a local YMCA summer camp,” according to an announcement from Moe’s.

On Thursday, during the official grand opening, Moe’s will have giveaways and prizes, including a chance to win an Electra Verse bike, a Kindle Fire and Amazon gift cards.

The new Moe’s is owned and operated by the franchise group Philmore Southwest, LLC, led by Jeff Coghlan and Jim O’Brien.  “We anticipate opening several more Moe’s throughout the area,” said O’Brien.

“Residents in nearby towns have really shown their demand for Moe’s, and we believe Doylestown deserves a Moe’s restaurant of its own,” said Coghlan.

While Moe’s is best known for its burritos, the menu also features kid’s, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-friendly options.
