Montco Brewery To Open Inside Chalfont Restaurant

CHALFONT, PA — A Montgomery County brewery is bringing its brews to Bucks County. Hatboro-based Crooked Eye Brewery announced on Friday that it will open a second location in May at a restaurant in Chalfont.

On Saturday, May 4, Crooked Eye Brewery of Hatboro, a well-known 10-year staple in the community, and Fusion Kitchen restaurant of Chalfont, will join forces to bring the brewery’s
new location into the already existing restaurant.

The collaborative effort will feature eight Crooked Eye brews on tap, a guest tap, Pennsylvania wines, spirits, and ciders, and will eventually sell its beers to go.

Fusion Kitchen, which is bringing a taste of the city to the burbs, is owned and operated by Executive Chef, Walt Marshall, who brings to the table 30 years’ culinary experience in all cuisines, has trained under several international chefs (including iron chefs Jose Garces and
Morimoto), and worked under the Stephen Starr restaurant umbrella in Philly’s fine dining scene for ten years, before opening Fusion Kitchen in 2021.

Menu items feature award-winning salads, sandwiches, and appetizers. The Chef focuses on a global and artistic spin on food, including dishes like Drunken Mussels, Oyster Po’ Boy Sandwich, Korean BBQ Flank Steak, Cubano sandwich, and even the novelty Fusion Donut (mac & cheese donut filled with pulled pork or buffalo chicken).

The restaurant seats up to 50 people in its dining area, plus bar seating, and will offer live music every Friday and Saturday and a trivia night is in the works.

On May 4th the brewery opening kicks off with an all-day celebration starting with a Kentucky Derby themed party, mint juleps and derby style foods, and live music from the Crooked Eye House Band starting at 7 p.m.

Fusion Kitchen is located in the New Britain Village Square, 4275 County Line Road, Chalfont.
