Movie Theater Thefts In Central Bucks Under Investigation

Central Bucks Regional Police said a man and a woman are involved in thefts at several theaters, including the County Theatre in Doylestown.

DOYLESTOWN, PA —The Central Bucks Regional Police Department is seeking two suspects involved in thefts from movie theaters in Bucks and Montgomery counties, including the County Theatre in Doylestown.

Central Bucks Police said they're investigating the theft of a wallet while the victim attended a movie at the County Theatre in Doylestown Borough on Aug. 16.

Police said the victim’s credit cards were then used fraudulently by a man and a woman to purchase items in excess of $1,500 at the Walmart in Warrington on the same day.

Police said the two are also suspected of thefts from other theaters in Ambler and Warrington.

Anyone knowing the identity of the suspects is asked to contact Officer Matthew Peppelman or submit a tip anonymously.
