National Night Out Events Canceled Or Postponed In Central Bucks

Three National Night Out events in Central Bucks County have been canceled or postponed by the forecast of rain Tuesday.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Three National Night Out events planned in Solebury Township, Doylestown Township and Buckingham Township have either been canceled or postponed due to a forecast for thunderstorms on Tuesday.

Doylestown Township issued the following statement on Crimewatch: "It is with great disappointment that we announce that Doylestown Night Out is canceled ... We regret to say we do not have a rain date but will host this event again next year on the first Tuesday in August."

Buckingham Township, which was planning a big event at Peddler's Village on Tuesday, is also canceling.

"We sincerely appreciate the support, and we look forward to seeing you next year. Please save the date of August 5, 2025," the department wrote on Facebook.

Solebury Township Police said while they are postponing Tuesday's event, they will be looking for a new date in September to bring everyone together.
