Tickets are $10, children under 12 are $5. Free dance and cultural workshop will be held after the performance. Native American fry bread and jewelry will be available. Don’t miss this great opportunity to experience a new world culture in the form of an old Native American dancing style.

Jasmine was one of the first women to learn hoop dancing, a tradition usually dominated by men. She was taught by her grandparents at the age of 7. In 2001, she became the first female to compete and win the teen division of the World Hoop Dance Championship, an accomplishment that gave her the recognition and respect she deserved among hoop dancers. Jasmine is a wife, mother of two, college student in elementary education and two-time world hoop-dance champion who has performed around the world. She has performed at the Library of Congress and Kennedy Center of the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., and the Heard Museum in Phoenix, AZ among a few. Jasmine also performed at Mount Rushmore in and was featured in the PBS documentary The National Parks: America’s Best Idea.
