New Britain Man Charged With Making Threats, Simple Assault

The Central Bucks Regional Police Department arrested the man after he was involved in a domestic verbal argument.

NEW BRITAIN BOROUGH, PA — A 29-year-old New Britain Borough man has been charged with making terroristic threats, possession of an instrument of crime with intent, simple assault, and harassment.

The Central Bucks Regional Police Department arrested the man in the 100 block of Hemlock Drive after he was involved in a domestic verbal argument during which he raised a weapon in the victim's direction when the victim called 911.

Police said the victim was able to leave the house without incident.

When police arrived, the man voluntarily exited the home peacefully. He was taken into custody and arraigned. His bail was set at 10 percent of $10,000. He was remanded to the Bucks County Prison.
