DOYLESTOWN, PA — Reporters from the New York Times recently visited Doylestown to discuss heath care, interviewing several local residents in a piece published Thursday.

Local lawyer Jeff Brahin and Bagel Barrel owner Patrick Murphy were among those who told the Times that while they were once against the Affordable Care Act, they now support it.

“As much as I was against it, at this point I’m against the repeal,"Brahin said, according to the report.

Now that an additional 20 million people are insured "you can’t just take the insurance away from these people. It’s just not the right thing to do," Brahin told reporters Kate Zernike and Abby Goodnough.

“I can’t even remember why I opposed it,” Murphy said, according to the Times. "They’re trying to repeal Obamacare but they don’t have anything in place.”
