Doylestown Man Killed In Warrington Crash: Police

The 21-year-old driver died after being partially ejected from the vehicle, according to Warrington Police.

WARRINGTON, PA – A Doylestown man is dead after a car crash that happened early Friday morning in Warrington Township, according to Warrington Township Police. The crash happened around 2:20 a.m. on Paul Valley Road near Street Road, police said.

Police said an officer was monitoring traffic at about 2:12 a.m when he observed a red Hyundai traveling north on Easton Road and then turn right on to eastbound Paul Valley Road. The officer followed the vehicle and found it on its roof on Paul Valley Road just south of Street Road, police said.

Police said the driver, identified as 21-year-old Sean Wright of Doylestown, was partially ejected from the vehicle. Wright was declared dead at the scene, police said.

A passenger managed to crawl out from the vehicle and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Police did not identify the passenger.

Police said neither Wright nor the passenger were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.

An investigation into the crash led authorities to believe the vehicle was traveling east on Paul Valley Road when the operator lost control and it struck a curb, causing the vehicle to roll on to its roof, police said.
