OwowCow On Track For 2019 Opening In Chalfont

CHALFONT, PA — The newest location of the popular OwowCow creamery is on track to open in 2019 in Chalfont, businesses representatives tell Patch.

The creamery, which enjoys a cult-like following at its other area locations, is opening an ice cream shop in a 1,500-square-foot portion of the former fire department building on North Main Street.

A spring debut is planned, following renovations to the space.

This will be the creamery's fifth location. OwowCow currently has locations in Wrightstown, Lambertville, Ottsville and Easton.

OwowCow serves homemade ice cream using locally-sourced ingredients, and has gained a loyal customer base. It is known for its creativity with cultivating seasonal flavors, and offers up tasty combinations such as blood orange raspberry, pumpkin caramel pecan, and strawberry basil.

In 2013, Huffington Post included OwowCow in its list of America's Top 10 ice cream shops.
