PA State Trooper Shot Dead: Suspect at Center of Statewide Manhunt Dead [UPDATE]
A manhunt was underway for Jason Robison, 32, in connection with the Friday evening shooting.

A Pennsylvania State Trooper was shot and killed Friday evening while responding to a domestic incident in Huntington County and the suspect wanted for the 23-year-old trooper's slaying was killed Saturday during a confrontation with law enforcement, the Pennsylvania State Police said.
According to state police, Trooper Landon Weaver was shot and killed while investigating a domestic incident at a home in Juniata Township around 6:30 p.m.
Police said they were seeking Jason Robison, 32, in connection with the shooting and warned that he should be considered armed and dangerous. Around 10:40 a.m. Saturday, police said Robison was deceased. Authorities found him at an empty mobile home not far from his residence Saturday morning.

State police said Robison refused commands to surrender, made threats to harm additional law enforcement personnel and was shot and killed in a confrontation that ensued.

According to information provided by State Police, Weaver enlisted in the Pennsylvania State Police last December and was assigned to the Patrol Unit at Troop G, Huntingdon.

He is the 97th member of the Pennsylvania State Police to be killed in the line of duty.

“The State Police are our best and bravest Pennsylvanians, who risk their lives to keep all of our families safe," Gov. Tom Wolf said in a statement. He said he has "full confidence" authorities will capture the suspect.
"As the search continues, all of our law enforcement officers involved are in the thoughts of all Pennsylvanians," Wolf said.
