Parent Positive Series Continues In Doylestown On Nov. 8
The series will continue Nov. 8 with a program at Lenape Middle School on how to cope when faced with adversity.

A free speaker series presented by Doylestown Health, CB Cares Educational Foundation, Central Bucks School District and the Central Bucks Family YMCA, will continue in November. The series, which covers important health topics for local families, will continue Nov. 8 with a program on how to cope when faced with adversity.
The program will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Auditorium at Lenape Middle School, 313 W. State Street, Doylestown.
Doylestown Health medical staff clinicians will discuss practical tips and effective coping strategies to implement as a family when faced with adversity.

Topics include: how the family structure impacts both child and adult health; dealing with an ill child in the hospital; and positive coping methodologies with an aging loved one. Following the presentation, there will be a panel discussion with a Doylestown Health Della Penna pediatric hospitalist, Doylestown Health director of acute care and Doylestown Health psychologist.
This program is appropriate for parents of elementary, middle, and high school-aged children. Registration is encouraged. Babysitting for children in kindergarten through 6th grade will be offered on-site at Lenape Middle School.
