Pay-What-You-Want Burger Event At The Hattery To Benefit A Woman's Place

Pay what you want for a burger or lobster roll at The Hattery on July 27 and all profits will go to A Woman's Place.

The Hattery Stove & Still will continue its Burger Benefit series Wednesday, July 27. This time around, the fundraiser will benefit A Woman's Place, a domestic violence shelter located in Doylestown.

It's the fourth Pay What You Want Burger Benefit for the Doylestown restaurant. The total amount raised so far for local charities is $5,000, according to information from The Hattery.

On July 27 between 5 and 10 p.m., diners can pay what they want for five different burgers, plus a lobster roll.

“We chose this Doylestown-based organization because it is Bucks County’s only domestic violence prevention and service group, and it helps so many clients and their children in their time of need,” said The Hattery Stove & Still’s General Manager Alex Nelinson.

A Woman’s Place’s Director of Philanthropy Heather Giampapa said the organization is "thrilled to be the beneficiary" of the fundraiser. "A Woman’s Place envisions a society where all individuals are safe in their relationships and can flourish. Our direct services, outreach and educational programs reach over 12,000 community members annually,” explained Giampapa.
