Pennsylvania Considering Banning Cell Phone Use While Driving
A bill that would ban all cell phone use while driving is currently in the state Senate.

The Pennsylvania state Senate is considering banning the use of cell phones.
Senator Rob Teplitz, a Dauphin County Democrat, introduced the the bill this week.
Current laws disallow texting but do not prohibit phone calls.

The bill would levy a $50 fine on first time offenders, a $100 fine would the second offense, and a $150 fine for the third offense.
