Perkasie Man Injured In Car-Train Collision In New Britain
The man was extricated from his car by emergency responders and taken to Grand View Hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
NEW BRITAIN TOWNSHIP, PA — A Perkasie man is in stable condition after his vehicle was struck by a SEPTA train Tuesday night in New Britain Township, police said.
Police and emergency crews responded to the area of Schoolhouse Road and Walnut Street at about 9:30 p.m. after receiving reports that a vehicle had been struck by a train.
Upon arrival police found a 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer with its front end under a SEPTA commuter train.

The 59-year-old driver from Perkasie was extricated from the vehicle by fire and EMS personnel. He was taken to Grand View Hospital to be treated for his injuries and was last listed in stable condition, police said.
No passengers on the train were injured, according to police.
