Philadelphia Woman Charged With Felony Retail Theft In Warrington

Police said the 35-year-old woman walked out of a store without paying for merchandise.

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A 35-year-old Philadelphia woman faces felony theft charges following an incident at a township store.

Police said on June 28, Shakea Nicole Wallace walked into the Target store at 401 Easton Road and selected $270.46 worth of merchandise. She then pushed her cart passed all points of sale before walking out of the store without paying.

When confronted by the store's loss prevention officer, police said Wallace abandoned the shopping cart and proceeded to walk away. Police located Wallace a short time later and placed her under arrest. She was transported to the station where she was processed and released.

Wallace is charged with retail theft (F3) and receiving stolen property (F2).
