Soft Pretzel Store Brings Philly-Favorite To Doylestown Borough

The nation's largest Philly-style soft pretzel franchise offers consumers fresh-baked pretzels "served hot outta the oven."

DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA —The Philly Pretzel Factory officially opened its doors with a grand opening celebration on Friday at the East Street Center (behind McDonald's and next to 7-11).

"We are so excited to meet you, so stop by and say hello," said the store owners Michael and Christ Coughlin and Tracy and Eddie Lewis who hosted the celebration, which included free pretzels and balloon animals and a chance to win tickets to the Phillies.

"What an incredible opening week it’s been for us! Thank you to everyone who came out and celebrated our VIP and grand opening events."

Taking the opening to the next level were Ben's Balloons, DJ Ryan Ritts, Bella Craft and Design, Doylestown Historical Society and Philly Pretzel Factory.

"This has been an amazing start. Let's keep it up," the owners said.

Philly Pretzel Factory was founded in 1998 by college buddies Dan DiZio and Len Lehman and has grown into the largest Philly-style pretzel bakery in the world, feeding customers at more than 165 franchised locations spreading across the country out of Philadelphia.

Philly Pretzel Factory's menu offers the traditional Philly-style pretzel, in addition to pretzel twists, mini pretzels, rivets, pretzel dogs, cheesesteak pretzels, and a variety of mustards.
