Photography classes for teenagers and adults offered at The PA Center for Photography

The PA Center for Photography in association with Stephanie Lisle has released their fall schedule for teenage and adult photography workshops.

Our 5 week COGNITIVE COMPOSITION™ workshops are offered on Mondays, 7-9pm for adults and Sundays or Tuesdays, 6:30 - 8:30pm for teenagers. Classes begin the week of September 20, 2015. These are not your common “how to use your camera” workshops but rather we’ll be delving into the creative process and how to use your camera to create photographs rather than to merely take pictures. It is listed as an “advanced beginner” course not because it requires exceptional technical expertise, but rather because it will challenge and expand your creative vision.

$250 per student ( Class size 5 min / 8 max)

We will be discussing:

- Visualization

- Advanced Understanding of Exposure

- Using Different Lenses and their Focal Lengths Effectively and Creatively

- Advanced Understanding of Depth of Field and its Creative Potential

- Postproduction

- Walkabout/Location Shoot

Experience/Equipment

All participants must provide and be familiar with the use of a DSLR, have an understanding of their camera’s manual settings, and basic knowledge of exposure (aperture, shutter speed and ISO). Participants also need access to a computer outside of class time. Photo editing software is a plus.
