Pickle Store Celebrates Grand Opening In Bucks County

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Bucks County pickle lovers have a big reason to celebrate this summer.

After being closed since a water pipe broke at its Croydon location six months ago, Giovanni's Dillicious Pickles is back in business in New Hope.

The community joined public officials for a ribbon cutting to officially open the South Main Street store, which is offering pickle-themed merchandise, 55 different flavors of pickles, and its famous pickle sandwiches.

Pickle Store Cuts Ribbon On New Bucks Location

If you love pickles, New Hope’s the place to be. Giovanni’s Dillicious Pickles has officially opened at 127 South Main Street where customers can relish a wide variety of pickle merchandise and food. Gabby Truitt, the owner of the business, recently joined state lawmakers, pickle fan Bucks County DA Joe Khan, chamber of commerce leaders, borough officials and former Mayor Larry Keller in cutting the ribbon on the new store and eatery.

Ice Cream Shop Opens In Wrightstown Township

A new ice cream shop and espresso bar has opened its doors in Wrightstown Township. Polly's Ice Cream & Espresso is now serving bowls and cones of ice cream goodness and cups of steamy espresso, hot chocolate, and tea at 2325 Second Street Pike (entrance off of Penns Park Road). Owned and operated by Julia Bailey, the shop offers more than 26 hand-dipped flavors in cups and cones along with more than 20 different toppings.

Restaurant Introduces Refreshed Summer Menu

In celebration of summer, Stella of New Hope is introducing a refreshed seasonal menu showcasing vibrant summer flavors, fresh local ingredients, and thoughtfully crafted dishes inspired by the region’s bounty. Created by Executive Chef Keith Bernstein, the new menu highlights fresh seafood, peak-season produce, vegetable-forward dishes, and elevated interpretations of classic steakhouse favorites. Designed for sharing and gathering, the seasonal offerings pair inventive cuisine with Stella’s picturesque waterfront setting, creating a destination for summer dining.

Dublin Diner Renovation Project Awarded $1M Grant

The state has awarded a $1 million grant for the complete renovation of the Dublin Diner, a local landmark on North Main Street in Dublin Borough that has been closed since 2020. State Rep. Shelby Labs (R-143) announced the grant through the state's Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP). The project calls for the complete renovation of the existing building. Planned improvements include demolition and site preparation, structural upgrades, new utilities, exterior renovations, and other improvements to prepare the property for future use.

Fred Beans "Rising Leader" Completes Training

Chris Gilbert, who has worked to grow the Mobile Service operations for Fred Beans Ford dealerships, has graduated from Ford Motor Company's Rising Leaders training program. He was one of only 20 participants from across the U.S. to complete the year-long program. "It's a privilege to have participated in Ford Rising Leaders," said Gilbert. "I had the opportunity to network with dealer colleagues and interact with key program executives throughout my time while also learning more about the business, and I'm leaving with even more confidence in Ford."
