Now in its fourth season, the picnics have grown to bring the Doylestown community even closer together through live music and good food.

DOYLESTOWN,PA — Doylestown Borough's family-friendly block party series, Picnics On Pine, returns to its namesake (Pine) street by way of Oakland Avenue on Saturday, May 20 and continues on select Saturdays through October at 84 East Oakland Avenue, Doylestown.
The event was born out of the pandemic lockdown as "Distance Picnics On Pine." Now in its fourth season, the picnics have grown to bring the Doylestown community even closer together through live music and good food.
The growth of the picnics is partly attributed to its grassroots approach.

The picnic festivities begin at 4:30 p.m. with music from Philadelphia's eclectic trio - Great Time - and the up-and-coming Lambertville, N.J., indie rock band, "Those Looks," paired with a picnic-centric menu from local chef Daniel Gallo of Thyme & Plate Catering.

Before and after the show, crowds can peruse craft and informational vendor booths from across the area.
This event is dog-friendly as long as they are people friendly and children 10 and under get in free.
"It's still surreal to me that this series started in lockdown. And that from there, it has created so many connections to not only new artists, but to neighbors, businesses, and the effectiveness of working together," says Montone. "This is truly built by and for us all... this is what makes Doylestown so special.
