NEW BRITAIN, PA — Pine Run Elementary School recently hosted its first family literacy night. The event catered to kindergarten through third grade students and focused on foundational literacy skills and phonemic awareness.

Hosted by reading specialists Colleen Wicen and Jenn Costantini, the event was themed, “Cozy Up with a Good Book!”

reading strategies, and participated in activities and games that they could later share at home.
