Pine2Pink Accepts Donation From Central Bucks Field Hockey Teams

Members of the CB West and CB East Field Hockey teams came together during Breast Cancer Awareness Month to present a check to Pine2Pink.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Central Bucks East and Central Bucks West field hockey teams put aside their rivalry to raise funds for a common cause.

Members of both teams recently came together during Breast Cancer Awareness Month to present a check for $1,253 to Pine2Pink.

“It is so cool to see the schools, kids, parents and coaches all get involved with Pine2Pink. We'd like to thank CB West and CB East Field Hockey teams for this amazing donation,” said Keith and Kristina Fenimore, the founders of the Kin Center and Pine2Pink.

“We began five years ago with a simple mission -- raise money through the community and keep it local,” said the Fenimore’s.

The girls worked hard on and off the field selling t-shirts to raise more than $1,000 for local breast cancer patients.

The donation will be used to support the Kin Center, including programs like home food delivery, out-of-pocket expenses(where we pay bills, rent, mortgage, child care, etc), treatment transportation, free integrative services, comfort bags at diagnosis and cold capping (used to reduce hair loss during chemo).

“We are all coming together to do our part to take care of locals who need our care and support,” said the Fenimore’s. “A big thank you to CB East and CB West Field Hockey for supporting Pine2Pink! You've done an amazing job!”
