Doylestown, Pennsylvania, September 15, 2021 – The Pine2Pink Foundation 501(c)(3), an experience- based, community-driven non-profit dedicated to local breast cancer patients is slated to kick-off the 2021 fundraising season on September 29 during a live event from Fonthill Castle in Doylestown. The Foundation is adding the Corinne Sikora Wellness and Support Center as a beneficiary, alongside Fox Chase Cancer Center Buckingham, Grand View Health and Doylestown Health. The 2021 season of Pine2Pink is presented by Allied Mortgage Group.

The month-long program is designed to raise money for local cancer patients while bolstering local businesses. The Foundation is recognized for its innovative month-long program that changes hundreds of lights pink in each town, conducts a month long augmented reality driven local retail scavenger hunt, curates local retail based special ‘Pink’ offers, changes Pine Street to Pink Street, and hosts a variety of events. New in 2021, is Pine2Pink’s takeover of the Doylestown Town Farmers Market and a full immersion into the Mercantile, a local department store hosting hundreds of local makers from Bucks County. Pine2Pink can be experienced in New Hope, Carversville, Peddler’s Village, Doylestown and Perkasie. With the Thompson Dealerships, coined Thompsonville, changing 350 lights across their sprawling lot.

“Our non-profit is seeing community involvement like never before. A non-profit’s measure of success is usually relegated to funds raised. I believe how those funds are raised is also a measure of success. This year we have seen a big spike in community participation. Not only by the number of sponsors and partners who have come to us, but by the community members who are taking matters into their own hands and hosting fundraisers and organizing events for us. We designed Pine2Pink to be community-driven. Watching that vision become a reality is tremendously rewarding,” states Pine2Pink Founder and Executive Director Keith Fenimore.

To date Pine2Pink has started and funded ten unique programs ranging from cold-capping to out-of-pocket expense relief, integrative services through Unite For Her, patient food delivery, comfort bags for newly diagnosed patients, treatment transportation and the purchase of new state-of-the-art infusion chairs. To stay local but expand our giving program, we are donating a portion of funds raised to the Corinne Sikora Wellness and Support Center a non-medical facility that is free to cancer patients in Bucks County and offers integrative services, support, therapy and a multitude of extracurricular classes and events. Kristina Fenimore, Director of the Corinne Sikora Wellness and Support Center states, “As a 100% donation based facility for cancer patients across Bucks County, getting support from Pine2Pink and the community at large is essential to our success and provides us with the means we need to offer the best, and most comprehensive slate of services to the cancer community across Bucks community who rely on us.”

The Pine2Pink free app launches a virtual immersive pink ribbon scavenger hunt with over 50 prizes. More than 100 virtual ribbons are hidden throughout participating towns.
