Pipersville Man Arrested On Statutory Sexual Assault Charges

PLUMSTEAD TOWNSHIP, PA —A 24-year-old Pipersville man is facing charges after police say he had sexual intercourse with a juvenile female.

On Nov. 22, Plumstead Township Police arrested Fernando Santos Tzij-Noriega, aka Santos Tzub Alfaro, and charged him with statutory sexual assault and corruption of minors, both felonies.

He was taken into custody without incident and was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Gary Gambardella. The judge set bail at $2.5 million, 10 percent. Unable to post bail, Noriega was
transported to Bucks County Prison.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for December 16 at Judge Gambardella’s courtroom in Ottsville.
