DOYLESTOWN, PA — Plans are in the works to repurpose the former Doylestown Friendly's.

An applicant is seeking a variance from the Doylestown Borough Zoning Hearing Board to turn the former Friendly's on N. Main Street into another restaurant.

Capital Enterprises Inc. is applying for a variance to permit outdoor dining to encroach within the required front yard setback. While the applicant has plans to repurpose the building into another restaurant, at this point it is not clear the name of that restaurant, sources said.
