Plumstead Police Report: Assault Arrest And Other Incidents
Police: Man reports fraudulent transactions on his bank account; woman reports theft of her wallet and cash while shopping.
PLUMSTEAD TOWNSHIP, PA — The Plumstead Township Police Department reported the following incidents and arrests between Dec. 5 and 9:
December 5
- At 10:05 a.m., a resident reported a fraudulent transaction. He told police that he received a bank notification of four transactions for $9,000 that he had not authorized. The man contacted his bank and police provided him with a victim rights packet and information on the fraud protection program.
- At 3:39 p.m., during a business check in the Cross Keys Place shopping center, officers were approached by a woman with complaints of a possible theft. The woman said that when she was at Marshalls her wallet and $180 cash went missing while she was shopping. Police provided her with a victim rights packet. There are no suspects at this time.

- At 1:22 p.m., officers responded to the area of Stump Road for a suspicious occurrence. When officers arrived, they met with a resident who said that the windows and doors to a home they are preparing to sell appeared to have been tampered with. Officers suggested putting cameras up and taking extra security measures until the home is occupied.
December 9
- At 1:29 a.m., officers were dispatched to the area of Blue Ridge Drive for a well-being check after a woman was seen running down the road with a man running after her. Officers met with the man who said that he and the woman had a verbal argument and she possibly ran to a friend’s house. After speaking with the victim, officers placed Colby Carr, 40, of Doylestown under arrest for simple assault and harassment. Carr was processed and arraigned. The victim was provided a victim rights packet.
- At 8:36 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area of Kellers Church Road for a trespassing complaint. When the officers arrived, they were met by a woman who said she no longer resides at the home, but she previously occupied the residence and was collecting the remainder of her belongings. The officer spoke to the landlord who advised police that if the former tenant comes back on the property, he will file a trespassing complaint.
