Plumstead Township Swears In New Full-Time Police Officer
Junior Rivas-Breton comes to the township with experience on the beat in Tullytown Borough and Bristol Township.

PLUMSTEAD TOWNSHIP, PA — Junior Rivas-Breton was sworn in as a full-time police officer with the Plumstead Township Police Department during the Oct. 9 meeting of the board of supervisors.
Rivas-Breton graduated high school in Warwick, Rhode Island, where he excelled in baseball and track, ranking as the number two pitcher in the state and number seven in the state in the 200- and 400-meter sprints.
Rivas-Breton relocated to the Philadelphia area and graduated from the Temple University Police Academy. After graduating from the police academy, he worked with the Tullytown Borough Police Department as a sworn officer from December 2022 to August 2023.

Rivas-Breton then joined the Bristol Township Police Department serving as an officer from August 2023 to February 2024.
Rivas-Breton is multi-lingual, speaking Spanish and Portuguese and comes to the department with experience and a positive attitude.
