Police Arrest Brother On Assault Charges In Plumstead Township
Police investigate fraud complaint; mediate noise complaint, unwanted person at a business.
PLUMSTEAD TOWNSHIP, PA —The Plumstead Township Police Department reported the following incidents between May 10 and May 13:
May 10
- At 7:02 a.m., officers responded to a domestic disturbance between two brothers on Blue Ridge Drive. The victim sustained injuries from the assault. An 18 year from Doylestown was taken into custody and transported to Central Bucks Regional for processing and arraignment.
- Officers served an involuntary commitment for an emergency evaluation and treatment to an individual on Blue Ridge Drive. The man was subsequently transported by a Plumstead Township police officer to a local hospital for evaluation.
- At 7:20 p.m., a Plumstead resident contacted the department to report a fraud involving his personal bank. The amount of $2,000 was fraudulently sent to an unknown individual via paypal. A report was filed and the complainant was provided with a victim’s right packet and referred to the victim service unit.

- At 12:59 p.m., officers investigated a call for an unwanted subject at a business on Swamp Road. Officers spoke with all parties involved and mediated the situation. The unwanted subject left the business and no further action was needed.
May 13
- At 11:43 p.m., officers investigated a call for a noise complaint in the area of Roseberry Drive. Officers were able to contact the homeowner and mediate the complaint.
