Police Investigate Thefts, Criminal Mischief In Doylestown Borough
The Central Bucks Regional Police Department also investigated spray painted words on several streets in Doylestown Borough.
DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Central Bucks Regional Police Department, which serves Doylestown Borough, Chalfont Borough and New Britain Borough, reported the following incidents during the month of June:
June 2
- An attempted theft was reported at Stormi Skyes at 53 W. State Street, Doylestown Borough. Police said an unknown woman attempted to steal earrings and set off the security alarm when leaving the store. The earrings were retrieved by an employee before the suspect left the store.

- Criminal mischief was reported at 30 E. Oakland Avenue (Raymers Candies), Doylestown Borough. Unknown person(s) vandalized the property with graffiti and broke a window at the store sometime overnight.
- A theft was reported at Famous Footwear, 420 N. Main Street, Doylestown Borough. Police said an unknown woman stole $427 worth of shoes by placing them in a stroller and leaving the store.
June 4
- A theft was reported at the Wine and Spirits Store, 132 Veterans Way, Doylestown Borough. Police said four unknown females stole $796 worth of alcohol.

- A theft was reported at the Wawa store, 425 South Main Street, Doylestown Borough. Police said an unknown man stole a beverage from the store.
June 14
- A theft was reported on East Court Street in Doylestown Borough. Police said unknown person(s) stole two wrought iron chairs that a resident placed on the sidewalk to block a portion of the sidewalk that was being repaired.
June 16
- An attempted theft was reported at the Magic Touch Car Wash, 77 West Butler Avenue, Chalfont Borough. Police said an unknown person(s) damaged coin machines by drilling the locks in an attempt to access the cash.
June 22
- A theft was reported on East State Street in Doylestown Borough. Police said unknown person(s) stole a Specialized Sirus men’s bicycle, valued at approximately $1,100, that was secured to a bike rack in the building's parking lot.
June 23
- Criminal mischief was reported on East State Street, West Court Street and on Printers Alley in Doylestown Borough. Unknown person person(s) spray painted the phrases “Free Palestine,” “40,000 MU,” “Stop the Genocide,” “40,000 Murdered” throughout town.
