Police Investigating Theft Reports In Plumstead Township
Package stolen from front porch, $2,000 worth of product missing from township business.
PLUMSTEAD TOWNSHIP, PA — The Plumstead Township Police Department reported the following incidents between June 3 and 15:
June 12
At 1:45 a.m., a Plumstead resident reported a suspicious vehicle in the area a Louise Saint Claire Drive. The resident told police that a black sedan was parked near her home and appeared that an
individual was taking pictures of her vehicle and her house. The officer informed the resident to call back if she sees the vehicle again.

At 5:04 p.m., officers responded to the area of Lucy Drive for a theft report. When the officers arrived, they were met by a resident who said they had a package stolen from the porch earlier in the day. Their camera captured the vehicle in question and the individual that took the package. The case is under investigation.

At 2:18 p.m., officers responded to a store on Swamp Road for a retail theft. When the officers arrived, they were met by the complainant who told police that more than $2,000 worth of product was missing. It is unknown when the items were taken but she believes in the past week. The case is under investigation while officers view surveillance videos.
At 4:25 p.m., officers responded to Easton Road for a theft complaint. When the officers arrived, they were met by a business owner who told police that they believed an employee was conducting fraudulent purchases. The officer informed the complainant to conduct their investigation with their records and when that was completed to forward the documents to the officer. The case is actively being investigated.
