Police Seeking To ID "Porch Pirate" In New Britain Township

Police say the suspect took a FedEx package from the porch of a home within a minute of it being delivered.

NEW BRITAIN TOWNSHIP, PA — The New Britain Township Police Department is investigating a package theft that occurred on December 6 on Remington Court.

“We are seeking the public's help in identifying the offender,” police said in releasing a photo of the suspect.

Police say the suspect took a FedEx package from the porch of a home within a minute of it being delivered.

“We encourage all residents to keep careful eye on expensive packages being delivered to the home and to take extra precautions when receiving high value packages. Offenders appear to target Apple devices specifically,” police said.
