Popular Bucks Ice Cream Shop Expands Its Reach To The Jersey Shore
Beloved Owowcow "farm to freezer" artisan ice cream now available at locations in Cape May, New Jersey.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Owowcow, Bucks County’s uber-popular premium ice cream brand, has expanded its reach to the Jersey Shore.
Ice cream lovers are now able to purchase the award-winning small-batch ice cream at three locations in Cape May operated by Cape Resorts, in addition to the artisan ice cream brand’s five shops in Bucks, Northampton and Hunterdon counties, including Chalfont, Wrightstown, Lambertville, Ottsville and Easton.
Owowcow is currently developing a proprietary flavor made with ingredients sourced from Cape Resorts’ Beach Plum Farm, but right now Tommy's Folly Ice Cream Parlour in Congress Hall is scooping eight handmade, locally-sourced flavors, including: Madagascar Vanilla, I Hate Chocolate, Blueberry Lemon, Cookie Monstah, Cookies & Cream, Almond Coconut, Cinnamon Bourbon, and Vegan Vanilla Caramel.

The Rusty Nail Bar & Restaurant is also carrying ice cream pops, ice cream sandwiches and Bowwowcow ice cream for dogs. And The Market at Beach Plum Farm is stocking assorted pints of Owowcow ice cream.
For Owowcow’s founder and master ice cream maker John Fezzuoglio, from the start the partnership felt like a natural fit. Fezzuoglio fell in love with Cape May and Congress Hall decades ago and has been vacationing there just about every summer since.

“We love the property, but most importantly, Cape Resorts shares our focus of supporting local agriculture, farmers and the community,” he said.
Owowcow is known for developing unique products by utilizing local farms and producers to create one-of-a-kind flavors for sophisticated palates.
Fezzuoglio said they will continue to do so in New Jersey, sourcing ingredients like local cage-free eggs, raw honey, and Jersey tomatoes, peaches and blueberries from nearby farms, including Beach Plum which produces more than 100 varieties of fruits and vegetables and provides produce and meats to several Cape May restaurants.
“The work we do with local farms is the core of our business,” said Fezzouglio. “We integrate the finest, freshest ingredients picked at the peak of perfection into our ice creams, and we’re really excited to utilize Jersey blueberries, peaches and tomatoes in our products this summer. There’s really no other ice cream brand like us at the Jersey Shore.”
Founded in 2009, Owowcow handcrafted ice cream is made from scratch daily. It is one of a handful of artisan crafted, small batch ice cream companies in the U.S. that are licensed by the Department of Agriculture to make their ice cream base from scratch. To learn more, click here.
