A portion of County Line Road in Bucks and Montgomery counties will be closed and detoured from Monday, March 28 through Friday, April 8 so crews can repair a structurally-deficient bridge over the Little Neshaminy Creek, PennDOT announced.
The road will be closed in Warrington and Horsham townships between Fairmont Avenue and Park Road, PennDOT said.
During construction, County Line Road through traffic will be detoured over Lower State Road, Street Road, and Route 611. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. Motorists should allow extra time when traveling through the area, PennDOT said.

Crews from PennDOT’s Bucks County Maintenance Unit will repair the stone-arch bridge by reinforcing the arch and wing walls with concrete. Stones will be replaced and dislocated stones will be reset. New mortar will be applied.
The signal-span, stone masonry arch bridge was built in 1890 and reconstructed in 1962. It carries 14,169 vehicles a day, according to data from PennDOT.
