Family Of "Gentle Giant" Jason Kutt Donates Car Meet Proceeds To Bucks Co. NOVA
Event honored the memory of an 18-year-old car enthusiast who was killed in a hunting accident in 2020 at Lake Nockamixon.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The Network Of Victim Assistance (NOVA) has received a $3,500 donation from the Kutt family from a car meet held in memory of Jason Kutt, who was tragically killed in a Bucks County hunting accident in 2020 at the age of 18.
Jason's family holds an annual car meet every year at Pennridge High School in Perkasie to celebrate his life and memory. Car enthusiasts and people from across the region participate in the event, which brings the community together to share stories about Jason and cars.
Since Jason’s passing, the Kutt family has launched a website and organized fundraising events in Jason’s honor to raise money and advocate for safer state park guidelines. The family has also set up a Facebook page titled “Justice for Jason Kutt,” where the family posts information about upcoming fundraisers and events, and a Facebook group called The Jason Kutt Legacy Fund, Inc.

Jason was known as “A Gentle Giant." He had a heart of gold and always felt the need to put others before himself, says the website. He regularly volunteered at his church. He was preparing for his enlistment in the U.S. Air Force with a goal of joining the Space Force when he was shot by a hunter at Lake Nockamixon.

Jason had a passion for music and played guitar. He loved all kinds of music but Metallica was his favorite band. He was an avid guitar player and felt music feeds the soul. He also chose to be a Gift of Life Donor and has positively impacted more than 254 lives with his gifts.
Dana Kutt, Jason’s mother, shared her family’s deep appreciation for the support NOVA and its advocates provided throughout the legal process following Jason’s death.
“NOVA’s knowledge, compassion, and steady guidance helped our family find our footing during an incredibly difficult time,” said Kutt. “Healing after a crime is not a quick or easy journey, but with NOVA’s support, we have been able to move forward with strength and hope.”
In recognition of NOVA’s continued commitment to victims and their families, the Kutt family donates the proceeds from its annual car meet to the organization, helping to raise awareness of NOVA’s mission and the critical services it provides to the community.
“A heartfelt thank you to the Kutt family for their extraordinary support of NOVA,” said Penny Ettinger, Executive Director of NOVA. “For the fifth consecutive year, the Jason Kutt Legacy Fund has generously donated proceeds from the Jason Kutt Legacy Annual Car Meet to advance our mission of supporting victims and preventing violence. We are deeply honored to partner with such compassionate and committed individuals.”
