Plans for a Wawa at the intersection of Ferry Road and Rt. 313 will be up for consideration Wednesday in Plumstead Township.

A proposal to put a Wawa at the intersection of Ferry Road and Rt. 313 will be up for consideration Wednesday in Plumstead Township. The Plumstead Township Zoning Hearing Board will review the plans at a meeting starting at 7:30 p.m.
According to a report by The Intelligencer, the proposal calls for a Wawa convenience store and gas station to be build on a 3.75-acre, commercially-zoned lot at Ferry Road and Route 313.
The applicant is seeking permission to erect a canopy over the gas pumps that exceeds the current height limit, as well as a reduction in buffer surrounding the site, The Intelligencer reports. A 5,000-square-foot retail or office building is also reportedly part of the plans.
