Pumpkinfest Returns To Doylestown This Weekend; Here's The Schedule

DOYLESTOWN, PA - This weekend is all about the pumpkin as CB Cares brings its hugely popular Pumpkinfest back to Doylestown after a long pandemic break.
In what’s promising to be a ‘ghord’eous weekend, the two-day event begins on Saturday from 1 to 8 p.m. and continues on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Moravian Pottery and Tile Works off of Swamp Road.
“It’s incredibly exciting to bring back Pumpkinfest,” said CB Cares Executive Director Ashley Crowell, as she decorated the pillars at the historic TileWorks with cornstalks. “I’m also looking at these huge, incredible pumpkins that we’re going to get to see transformed through the weekend. It’s going to be an awesome weekend.”

Saturday will feature pumpkin carving, celebrity judges, free TileWorks tours from 1 to 4 p.m., live performances by the Doylestown School of Rock and Faux Friends, food trucks (Bonjour Creperie and the Great Barn Taphouse), funnel cake, Kettle Korn, Ben’s Balloons, Bucks Bubbles, and lots more.

From 1 to 6 p.m., visitors can watch as professional carvers turn pumpkins into works of art.
“We give them six hours to transform incredibly huge pumpkins into a work of art and then they are judged by a panel of celebrity judges who walk through and decide who the grand prize winner will be. There’s also a sprinkling of Peoples Choice awards,” said Crowell.
“It’s going to be a weekend of good old family fun. We have the School of Rock performing. We have a youth band playing from a Central Bucks high school. We have bubbles and balloons. And the Doylestown Fire Company will be here with its antique fire engine, which is celebrating bits 100th anniversary this year,” said Crowell.
The fun continues on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. with Trunk or Treat, food trucks, lighted Jack O’Lanterns, and live performances by Faux Friends. Youngsters are encouraged to come dressed in costume.
“Come on out and enjoy the beautiful weather and experience all the joy of Pumpkinfest,” said Crowell.
Admission is $10 (general admission), free for kids five and under, $5 (ages 6 to 12), and $20 for a family pass (up to six family members from the same household. Passes are good for each day.
Proceeds benefit CB Cares.
